Project Colors is a platformer about mixing colors,
finding new combinations and making friends along the way.
When Yellow goes missing,
Red and Blue go on an adventure to find them.
Use the unique mixing mechanic to combine to Purple, Orange and Green,
each with unique abilities/stats. Solve puzzles by getting help from your friends
(this doesn't mean multiplayer, yet), and don't leave anyone behind,
you'll need them.
A proof of concept for a full game that never got made.
How to Play:
AD and SPACE to move
Q and E to switch between characters
Close to other character and press SHIFT to mix
If you're stuck, press BACKSPACE to go to the last checkpoint
This game is a recreation of a game I made earlier this year
for the Brackeys Jam 2021.1, A Friend's Needs.

I'm liking this game a lot, I think the camera feels a little weird, you can use two vertical speed for three cases, if the character gets near of the vertical edge or lands in the floor you can use a the maximum speed but if it's mid'air and not on any edge the camera could be following the character in a slower ratio.
Also I think moving the camera up and down pressing W and S keys could add a lot of control to the player. Can't wait to play the whole game!

It does have coyote jump! It’s not really noticeable because I had to lower it so it wouldn’t be OP. Glad you enjoyed it!
I really like this game, what I would love to see is more details to the cave like ores, vines, etc. Also I would love to see some kind of struggle animation when the characters push the rock. A water fall maybe, and more sound effects like dripping or spiders in the cave or something like that, other than that, this game is cool.

Wow, absolutely fantastic demo! It immediately reminded me of “ibb & obb” but your idea of mixing colors makes it quite unique. I’m eagerly awaiting the final game.
